Neutral outlook on USD for the week ahead- Westpac

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The market strategy team at Westpac holds a neutral outlook on the USD for the week ahead, but sticks with a constructive 3 month outlook. The neutral outlook is due to –

1) Some questionable data (i.e. a sub-50 ISM) amid still decent jobs data;

2) USD index failure at the all-important 100 technical level;

3) Year-end position squaring position pressures; and

4) Probable dovish guidance from Chair Yellen at this week’s FOMC lift-off
