US: Initial Jobless Claims fell to 339K
FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) - According to the Labour Department, the Americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits fell by 2K last week to a seasonally adjusted 339K in the week ended November 8, missing expectations at 330K and coming from 341K (revised from 336K) in the previous print. Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, came in at 2.874 million in the week ended November 1.
