"US existing home sales fell 0.9% in August (vs +1.1% expected), extending the erratic, positive growth path since 2010. Jobless claims slipped from 260k to 252k last week. Claims are averaging 257k in September, vs 262k in August and 260k in July, continuing to indicate a healthy jobs market.
