German government spokesman: EU is ready to react to US tariff announcements

In response to the US President Donald Trump's latest announcement to impose steep tariffs on imported steel and aluminum, German government spokesman was out with some comments, via Reuters, saying:

   •  German government rejects US tariffs on steel and aluminum
   •  Germany will closely examine Trump's decision and consider consequences
   •  EU is ready to react to US tariff announcements
