ECB's Lautenschlaeger: Economy is still in environment projected by the central bank
The European Central Bank's (ECB) executive board member Sabine Lautenschlaeger was out on the wires in the last hour, saying that the economy is still in environment projected by the central bank and hence, will wait for projections in March before changing the view on rate hikes.
Lautenschlaeger was also noted saying that view on rate hikes are very much data-driven and have to think where to start with a rise in rates. ECB has different key rates, not just one, he added further.
